Origin of the name: The name "Grèves" derives from the sandy and gravely soil giving an extreme smoothness to the wine and delicate tannins.

Three plots: clay on the low part of the vineyard, sandy on the mid-slope and on a sunny bedrock at the top , providing all its nobility to this vintage. East facing, very sunny and a little windy, quick ripening.
